Led by expertise. Built on understanding.
Guiding Star SEND and Dyslexia was founded to bring together specialist assessment, educational consultancy and workplace neurodiversity support under one roof — grounded in real classroom and leadership experience, not just theory.
A career spent on both sides of the table
Glynda Cullen is a qualified teacher, specialist dyslexia assessor, SEND consultant, executive function specialist and experienced school leader. Her career spans classroom teaching, senior leadership, specialist assessment, family support, professional training and consultancy across education and the workplace. She is also a regular conference speaker, having spoken at the TES SEND Show, where she will be speaking again this year.
That range matters. It means recommendations come from someone who has taught across mainstream and specialist provision, led as a senior school leader, written provision maps, delivered INSET, and supported families through exactly the processes this website exists to explain — not just from assessment data alone.
